This has been an outstanding standing Pride event. It all began with St. Pete Mayor Rick Kriesman and his senior team hosting the First ever Pride Flag raising at City Hall.
It was an especially poignant moment for those who have been
involved in the Pride festival since its beginning

The Mayor has named to staffers to acts as LGBT liasons for City employees and the public.
For the first time in its 12 year history a St. Pete Mayor walked in the Pride Parade along with a group of City employees.
There were many more special moments these were just a few.
